Karin Helmstaedt

Karin Helmstaedt was born in Canada to a German father and Canadian mother. She represented Canada's national swimming team, and studied Physical and Health Education and Literature in Toronto and Montreal before moving to Paris. She studied French Literature at the Sorbonne and began writing as a Journalist, and freelancing as a Translator and Presenter at sporting events. Helmstaedt reported extensively on doping in the former East Germany, and in 1997 co-produced the prize-winning documentary "Staatsgeheimnis Kinderdoping" for German public television. Her subsequent work on the subject brought her to Berlin in 1998, where she continued freelance writing for newspapers and magazines, and contributed to a book. She also joined DW-TV as a News Translator and Speaker, and became a Presenter of 'Germany Today' in 1999. She is now part of the euromaxx team.

Mads Holmen
Planning Director, GoViral
Mads Holmen has been part of the online video revolution for as long as Youtube. He joined goviral in the company's early days in 2005, after co-founding and running a consultancy business, uniQaim, during his studies at Copenhagen Business School. In 2007 Mads departed to London where he helped grow the UK iperations from 3 to 50 people. mads now serves as Planning Director across the group's six offices across Europe and is co-author of 'The Social Metropolis.'

Margaret spent 10 years with the RNIB latterly as their Web Manager. Anne Villemoes

Anne Villemoes has spent the last four and a half years changing the reputation of one of the largest companies in Denmark. Prior to that she worked as special advisor to the Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and as Head of Press for the Danish Consumer Council. She has a background as a journalist in TV and for the largest national newspaper in Denmark.

Jon Worth

Jon Worth is a trainer and website strategist based in London. He is best known for his work on the Atheist Bus Campaign where he helped raise £150,000 in online donations. He has been responsible for online campaigns for UK politicians such as Harriet Harman and Ken Livingstone, and is partner in techPolitics LLP, a web agency dedicated to online campaigning. He runs social media training for public and private sector clients and notably for the European Commission in Brussels.
